above the horizon or below it

“Dusk is just an illusion because the sun is either above the horizon or below it. And that means that day and night are linked in a way that few things are there cannot be one without the other yet they cannot exist at the same time. How would it feel I remember wondering to be always together yet forever apart?”

  1. So interesting to contemplate. If one were to remove oneself from Earth and and rotate with the sun…there would be only light…and thus no dusk or dawn. If one were to put onself on any of the rocky planets…dusk and dawn has totally new meanings and durations. Yet we cannot deny…that all of animate life…sets the internal clock around dusk and dawn…the tides…the position of the moon, the earth, relative to the sun. Is an illusion merely a perspective…and the same with the truth?
